Mahsi’ choo to the League of Women Voters of Tanana Valley for organizing a fantastic candidate forum this past Friday. It was great to be able to talk about the important issues facing our district and rural Alaska. My opponent decided not to show up or take part in the important debates that we need to be having. I hope to see him at future forums.

The primary election is tomorrow and while I don’t have a primary opponent, it is critical that every single Alaskan exercises their hard-won right to vote. We can have excellent schools, paid maternity leave, maintained roads, and running water in every rural community. We can protect the PFD for future generations, we must demand that the oil companies pay their fair share for use of our resources. But to do that, we need to elect new leadership and new representation.

You can find your polling location at http://myvoterinformation.alaska.govor call the Division of Elections regional office at (907) 451 2835. Mahsi’ choo, tsin’aen, enna basee, and thank you.
